Hello, I'm Ayotomiwa. Originally from Lagos, Nigeria, I attended the University of Pennsylvania where I studied Computer Science at the Undergrad and Masters level. I also studied in the M&T program with the Wharton School and previously attended African Leadership Academy.

I have developed my passion for technology by working on different projects including a search engine, an open-source package for estimating the cost of OpenAI API requests before sending them, a web app for summarizing and chatting with multiple links and pdfs, and more projects in my internships at Google, and a couple of Y-Combinator startups - Bamboo and Prelim.

I love reading books, like Sapiens, Atomic Habits, and The Three Body Problem. When I'm not coding or writing, you can find me trying a new sport or avoiding sushi.

Software Engineer

Built a cross-team integration to reduce the latency of business photos retrieval by 100x for mobile (maps). This feature enables businesses on google to upload and view photos directly from their phones in their stores.

Mobility won the President's Inovation Prize at UPenn for building a solution that solves the last-mile delivery challenge in healthcare. I collaborated with another engineer to build the beta used to complete hundreds of daily deliveries by a clinic in South Africa.

tldr

Summarize and chat with multiple pdfs and webpages at once. Students use tldr to review slides and prepare for exams; Professionals add their resume and a job description to generate cover letters; and more

OpenAI API pricing package

Developers like me struggle to keep updated with OpenAI's billing when planning to scale costs for many users or just pricing a specific workflow. Last semester, I built a pricing tool to solve this problem for students in an AI Research class with Prof. Chris Callison-Burch. I thought I'd juice it up to support GPT-4 and make it open source for other developers who wish they had more detail than OpenAI's monthly bill.

Web Crawler and Search Engine

As part of an Internet & Web Systems class, I built an Apache Web Server and Web Crawler in Java. For the final project, 3 other teammates and I, built and deployed a Search Engine.
